Sponsorships for trainees in Senegal: Our commitment to a better future

The school year 2022-2023 was a first milestone for Tools for Life and students of Don Bosco Vocational School. We are proud to announce that an impressive 90% of the students we supported successfully completed their school year. This success confirms our belief that education is the key to a better future.

Our organisation is committed to making education more accessible to disadvantaged communities. For those who cannot afford to send their children to school, we offer financial support. At Don Bosco Vocational School, we cover 70% of the school fees for the students we support. This approach allows families to keep more money and improve their often precarious financial situation.

We are only able to support these students with the help of donors who make a generous contribution each month to support a student. We would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts. If you would also like to donate,  it happens here.

On the 1st of October, part of our team will travel to Senegal. During our stay, I will conduct interviews with the students and the headmasters of the different schools. These conversations will help us to better understand their stories, needs and hopes

Our work in Senegal goes far beyond providing financial support to students. We strive to provide comprehensive education and skills development support to help students reach their full potential.

Our vision for the future is to support even more students to see education as the path to a better future. We believe that education not only promotes individual development, but also positively impacts entire communities.

We are excited about the successes of the last school year and motivated to continue our efforts to support even more students in Senegal. Our goal is to make education accessible and to relieve families in vulnerable situations so they can build a better life. Your support is invaluable to us, and we will continue to work to bring about positive change in Senegal and beyond.

We will keep you updated with more information and stories from our visit to Senegal in the coming weeks. Thank you for your support!
